Unless alternative arrangements have been made when samples are submitted to the laboratory, the excess from samples not used for analysis will be retained by the laboratory after reporting results for the following time period:
Drinking Water -- 1 Month
Wastewater/Sludge/Soil -- 7 Days
Food/Perishables -- 7 Days
All Other Samples -- 1 Month
Hazardous Sample Disposal Fee – Samples that require special handling and disposal will be assessed a charge based on sample size and NFPA codes and regulations. Clients may also request that non-hazardous samples be returned at his/her expense if so desired.
